Make sure QuickCrypt Library and
your application projects are using the same C++ run-time libraries.
The QuickCrypt Library defaults to single-threaded non-DLL libraries (libc.lib).
This happens because you are using a non-registered version of QuickCrypt Library. In order to remove this start up delay you have to
register the library.

QuickCrypt Library can be found in the QuickCrypt help file (QuickCrypt.chm)
provided with the library distribution.
You can
only ship a registered version of QuickCrypt.dll. Other files are for developing purpose only.
If you use static linking
to build your application you don't need to ship QuickCrypt.dll, but
you have to use a registered version of QuickCryptS.lib to build your
application before shipping it.
